Email marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating messages to an audience. Its strengths are:
- Fast: once it is sent, it reaches the addressee rapidly
- Cheap: “material” costs (paper, printing, expedition fees) are irrelevant
- Customizable: it is possible to send different advertising messages to different users
- Measurable: a continuous control of obtained results and customers’ feedback is easier to collate
